When you look at this boutique hotel from the outside, you think hmmm, but once inside it is very nice. Personnel are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and we had a very nice king bed. Bathrooms are large with a tub shower.
I always check the rooms for safety items. Visual and audible fire alarms are in the bathroom and main room. Sprinklers and smoke detectors, along with evacuation map.
Very adequate electrical outlets for all your stuff. Amazingly, a very easy to use alarm clock that you don’t have to be an engineer to set.
Lastly, very centrally local, near Times Square, Radio City, and various subway lines. Walking to many attractions, including Broadway theaters, numerous restaurants, etc.
The only negative is that there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room. But on the other hand, the continental breakfast was filling and good.

This hotel had a central location but everything else was pretty poor. Our bathroon window was cracked, fan/A/C load, thin walls so kept awake with people slamming doors and talking not to mention the load outdoor noises. We had to change to an interior room with reduced street noise but the A/C fan was even loader and so were the banging doors in the hallway. Terrible view and obscurred by netting and scaffolding on the entire front facing of the hotel. Although the lobby was clean, the entrance was littered with garbage. The breakfast was OK but mostly chose to eat elsewhere while in NY.
