Disaster

by nonlosoproprio

It is not a place to sleep. I am not sure what kind of hotel this is but other guests at night were awake. TV, radios, mobile phones, were all so luond. People banging doors, ladies laughing loud..... no way to sleep at night.
Guests were lacking any form or respect, people were shouting and calling each other from one room to another.
Reception people useless and unfriendly.
Common areas ugly and dirty.
If you need to sleep at night STAY AWAY

Good value for the money

We arrived late in the evening on a bus from Lima. We searched for some budget accomodation in Ica, asking hostels along the way from the Flores bus station. But when we compared the prices in average/bad hostels to this hotel, there was nothing more to think about.
For 50 soles we got nice and clean room with private bathroom on the 4th floor. From some reason the top floor is a bit cheaper, maybe because there was no elevator and you need to take stairs.
In the room there was also TV which we did not use. There was no noise during the night, only if we left the bathroom door open because there was a window facing the side street.
The next day the porter suggested that we may leave our backpacks in the storage area and pick them up when we come back from the oasis. What a lovely guy.
The hotel is two blocks from local bus stations.
