Two stars is being nice

This is a kind of the worst hotel ever... There is a new building and an old building. MAKE SURE you stay in the NEW building. The old wing has NO hot water and the shower sprays in every direction except on your body. My students were then told to shower in a different room which also had no hot water. The students were then switched to a new room that had not been cleaned. We also left our luggage there to go onto Matchu Picchu. They never moved the luggage out of the old rooms and assigned us new rooms so for over an hour we played where is your luggage???

It was OK

You will need to know some Spanish here. Staff that I had contact with were not English speaking. Their cathedral ceilings made for noisy rooms around the center of hotel. I was lucky enough to be off the beaten path but we were right on the street so we had a lot of street noise. Not to big of a deal as we were touring all day and were just that tired. A friend stayed down the hall and her bathroom had a very bad smell to it. Water pressure DIED if there were to many folks taking showers at the same time. Breakfast buffet was decent...nothing fancy but adequate.
