We had a patio room. Carpets and fixtures were a bit shabby. Bathroom was pretty small. Noticed several mosquitoes in bathroom when we arrived. We only opened the patio doors once but we battled the mosquitoes both nights. They were so bad we could not use the outdoor area at all. Didn't try the pool because of this. Also, weekends may not be a good idea at this hotel. Midnight and the noise from the party up stairs was going strong.

Everything I expected it to be.

From the pictures on Trip Advisor and accompanying reviews I really felt we had to stay here. Was not disappointed. Beautiful, Mexican themed; Spanish tile everywhere; huge lobby; adjacent gift shop & bar which we utilized; 3 elevators for efficiency; room was on the 6th floor; very efficient and courteous check-in.

Only negative was there are no electrical outlets on the L. side of the bed. cpap users take note.

Choose this hotel for it's strong Spanish theme throughout!
