Reviews

Highly recommended, excellent value, friendly staff

by P6717WFjohnm

This was our first stay in this hotel where we spent 2 nights. We pre-arranged a shuttle service from the airport, the driver was waiting for us on arrival (only 30 Soles). Although we arrived several hours before the hotel's check in time, the room was ready and we were able to settle in immediately on arrival. It's less than 30 minutes walk into the main square, which made it perfect for eating out in one of the many restaurants. The room was large and airy, very comfortable bed. The hotel staff were happy to help us with our airport check-in, which really helped as we weren't able to check in online ourselves. All in all, a fabulous experience, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended

Dishonest receptionist

by Anitina1234

My stay was ruined because when I was going to check out the male receptionist on 17th of August that does the night shift didn't want to honour the price I got at Booking.com, he wanted me to pay more at all cost and I came with all sorts of excuses for that , from the bad exchange rate from Dollars to Peruvian Soles the hotel offers to wanting me to pay the tariff as a Peruvian citizen , I registered with my British passport and entered the country with my British passport , I felt the receptionist wanted to take advantage of me because I'm a female solo traveler , I was checking out at 5.30 am and nobody else was around to witness what he was trying to do and he took advantage of that , he went as far as telling me that I had a fake British passport with the intention of avoiding Peruvian taxes in his hotel , I told him to call Migraciones Peru ( migration number )and he didn't want to do it , luckily a female receptionist just started her shift and told him to honor the Booking tariff, also my room was noisy as they were doing building work but I was moved to another room . When I went through passport control leaving Peru I asked the lady of the desk and she told me that definitely I appear as entering the country with my British Passport, the receptionist said that apparently he couldn't see it in his system , I don't know if this was a one off or the hotel has a dishonest and very rude employee, I said I was going to complain to Booking and he said go and complain to whoever you want and swore at me .
