Love this hotel

by mikecook1979

This is the 3rd time here and everything about this place is brilliant!!!!
The staff are really kind, helpful and friendly!!!
When we arrived the fridge wasn’t working, within an hour we had a new fridge!!!
The rooms maybe a little dated but the hotel has everything you need and more!!!
The location is brilliant and everything you want or need is within walking distance!!!
Breakfast buffet serves everything you could possibly want, yes it can be carnage but that’s the fault of the holidaymakers lacking manners not the hotel.
The pool is bloody brilliant, yes you get the usual folk reserving their beds at 07:00 but I don’t see how that can be policed by the hotel as if they opened the doors at 09:00 there would be a riot!!!

Thanks for having us and we will see you again

Good location but not a 4* experience

We travelled to this hotel last week.
Positives first....
Great location, near to airport, right on the beach, clean, staff are very helpful. Free WIFI, free safe, English TV channels if you wanted them. Breakfast was great selection BUT complete carnage with 400 plus people scrambling for a table and food. We gave it a miss after the first day.

Negatives......
It’s dated, it needs an overhaul, broken floor tiles, baths are marked and stained, we had to move room as the first one was just not good enough, stained bathroom ceiling, tiny room full of black furniture. Couldn’t move in it, we paid up upgrade to a suite (£190) it was bigger but the rubber was falling out of the wardrobe doors, the floor tiles in the room were loose, the bath plug didn’t fit the bath. Little things that they could easily fix. The sun beds need a good clean.

There are 2 plug sockets in the rooms. One is in the bathroom and one is under the vanity table. Bit of a struggle to get too.

There are plenty of sun beds BUT only if you want to sit in long rows with hundreds of other people. It’s carnage and the usual towel brigade are down before 7 bagging anything resembling a quiet spot.

Lastly if you manage to get a pool view, don’t leave your balcony doors open at night. They start putting the sun beds out at 6am and like to whistle while they drag them around the pool.

Not sure we would return but in fairness the holiday companies are selling this as a 4 star based on amenities not how old it or if it needs some repairs.

Staff were really lovely and helpful when we asked to move, couldn’t fault them.
