Overview

Situated one block from the town center, this family-run hotel has the reputation for being the most authentic Bavarian hotel in Leavenworth. The pension offers 16 unique rooms decorated with old-world furnishings imported from Austria and Bavaria. Each deluxe room is unique, some offering painted furniture and an extra sitting room area. Each features one king bed with European style duvets and free Wi-Fi, and many come with balconies (reserve a rollaway or crib for little ones). The best room for families is the spacious Alta Kapelle Deluxe Suite, featuring a king bed and two twin beds in a sleeping loft, fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. The pension includes breakfast, a Bavarian affair of German breads, meats, cheeses, and coffee cake, the only true German breakfast in town. The hotel doesn’t offer many kid-specific extras for families, but it’s the traditional décor and warm hospitality that make this hotel a favorite. Be aware — most of the luxury suite options don’t permit children.

Perfect hotel in a perfect location!!

by locaquintana

We had a wonderful stay at this true Bavarian style hotel. The staff were excellent, especially Donna and Katia who made our experience there a delight. The Alpine breakfast was a great way to begin the day and the coffee delicious. Very clean hotel, and walk-able to all the restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back!!

Wunderbar Oktoberfest

by Sodman

We spent a wonderful weekend in Leavenworth WA attending Octoberfest and stayed at the Hotel Pension Anna, an authentic Bavarian inn. The Octoberfest was fantastic - great bands, dancers, beers (5 imported from Europe), and food. The hotel, located in the classic Bavarian village and a 5 min walk from the entrance to the festivities, is run by a young European couple, Erika and Martin. The hosts and staff were VERY accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Included in the price was a European breakfast of cold cut meats, rolls, eggs, coffee, coffee cake and juice. The rooms were beautifully furnished, roomy and comfortable. Hope we get a chance to return!!
