The hotel is on one of the dirtiest and smelly streets in Manhattan. A hotel renovation was required 10 years ago, the carpets must be 20 years old - stains everywhere and decolorated, the furniture is old, damaged and scratched, wallpaper is wrinkled and falling off and the bathroom had mold everywhere. We had to call twice to complain about the room temperature - too hot - and once in person. They control the temperature, not you! Not one USB port in the room - well, I imagine the last time they refurbished the hotel those didn’t existed. Only one passenger elevator in the property ... we walked down five flights three times in two days.
