Hotel Union Square is located in Center City within walking distance of Westfield Shopping Center, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Yerba Buena. Yerba Buena is a great place to take kids as it includes a bowling alley, ice skating rink and playground. The hotel sits on the cable car line, giving families an up-close-and-personal experience of one of San Francisco’s notable attractions. At times, the hotel offers family discounts on tickets. A truly boutique hotel, it features contemporary, European-influenced rooms. Children under 12 can stay with parents free of charge. They will enjoy the in-room video games and flat-screen televisions. Families may want to book one of the Kids Suites. These suites enhance children’s stays by offering a playful decor, Nintendo Wii system and computer. Kids receive their own check-in, chocolates and a list of area attractions that best suit them. Parents, in turn, get more privacy and happier kids! The entire property is wired for complimentary Wi-Fi. Hotel Union Square is pet-friendly, so Fido can come along on vacation.

My friend and i were very disappointed with the room they gave us. The picture from the website was very different with the actual room. We cancelled our first hotel because it was very bad and had to pay the fee. We booked this hotel because we wanted a comfortable room and the picture looks very nice. But The actual room is very opposite of it. Thankfully, ANDRE was so kind to help us change a better and a larger room. He is very approachable and always greets us whenever we walk in the lobby. I wish every person in the front desk is like him
Hotel Union Square is a very pleasant place to stay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Our room size was just right for us and the amenities are more than expected. I loved the free water travel pouch which could be refilled with alkaline water for free as well as the disposable make up remover towelettes. There is iced lemon water to welcome guests all day and evening wine and music at the lobby. But what we appreciate most of all were the very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. We especially commend the concierge- Ruben and Jewel who went out of their way to give us valuable tips to enjoy our vacation in San Francisco and onwards to Reno.
