I had delays in the US getting to Ireland. I called the hotel to cancel my reservation as the bad weather kept us from taking off. I spoke to Jen and the mgr Tom and they would not cancel my reservation. They charged me for the night. The customer service and hospitality is not at this hotel. No Irish charm to be found at the front desk with the staff and mgmt.

Just back from a 3 night stay with my husband and 2 young kids at the Hotel Woodstock. It is such a warm and inviting hotel and was nothing but relaxing from the moment we entered to the moment we left. The hotel itself is spotless, Gina the receptionist is such a lovely pleasant lady as are all the staff. The room was cleaned everyday and they even enquired that we were happy with the service given also. The breakfast each morning was fantastic and not once were we rushed out of the dining area, in fact it seemed like food was topped up continuously for the entire service. We also ate in the bar 2 nights and the food was delicious. The kids absolutely loved the kids clubs and the staff there were so friendly and kind to them. We will definitely be back again.
