Overview

Located on the east end of Key West near neighboring Stock Island, the Hyatt Beach House Resort is a modern resort surrounded with tropical gardens and beautiful water views. There’s a manmade white sandy beach here that’s great for a dip, and plenty of cushioned chairs and picnic tables for enjoying it. You can also take advantage of the free barbecue facilities for a fun al fresco meal. Other amenities include the large lagoon-style pool and hot tub, complimentary high-speed internet access and complimentary parking. The concierge is very helpful for booking tours and excursions that include golf, snorkeling, fishing and more.

Don’t expect standard Hyatt rooms here. An at-home feel is delivered in the over 70 apartments here, all of which have two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, full kitchens, washers and dryers, living rooms and private screened-in patios. Families of up to six can be accommodated in a single apartment. The hotel has two onsite restaurants serving American classics like burgers, pastas and steaks, as well as a good range of local seafood options such as stone crab claws (in season only), spiny lobster and snapper.

Not what we expected!

by Traveler16881

we have stated this property before and how positive remarks however this year we had some problems with dirty door handles in public areas as well as units doors that did not lock and the units and insects and ants inside the units
If you're a cigar smoker or any smoker there's no established area to smoke except for at the end of a dock. The property is well-run and staff is very nice however it is lacking in personality . All I heard was from older owners complain about everything from room tax to the number of renters and I'm even in my 50s. Maybe next year will be better if I draw the Beach House resort and my exchange

Great Trip

Great resort. Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Pool was excellent. Scenery was amazing! We weren't close to the busy part of Key West but it was a short Uber ride everywhere and it was nice and quiet when we got back to the resort. Everything went super smooth.
