Overview

Centrally located, the Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown serves up a trendy hotel (outside fire pit, cool H bar for cocktails) with everything you need to keep the family happy, like an outdoor pool.

All rooms offer a 42-inch flat-screen television, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a microwave, a mini-fridge, coffee maker and a complimentary hot breakfast. Choose between a king bed or two queens. King and double-queen suites offer “small apartment” spaces that come with full kitchens.
The property has an upscale fitness room and an outdoor pool. Wi-Fi is complimentary, but the property doesn’t offer self-parking. Valet parking is available for a nightly fee.

And by centrally located we mean super-duper centrally located. The Hyatt House Atlanta/Downtown is 0.5-miles to Centennial Olympic Park (Children’s Museum, fountains for play, CNN Center, Atlanta Ferris wheel and World of Coca-Cola). The property is 2.7-miles to the gorgeous Piedmont Park, 5.3-miles to the Fernbank Science Center, and 8.1-miles to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta. (Avoid driving during peak Atlanta commute hours.)

Stay at another hotel

by Amy G

I am a business traveler so trust me when I say stay somewhere else if you can. Hyatt hotels have gone downhill. My room was not clean. Staff was nice but on my day of departure my wake up call was 25 minutes late. Good thing I have a backup alarm

Stayed here 3 nights for a business convention. During my stay, I got in the shower and heard a knock on my room door. I, then, heard the door open and a minute later, it closed. Once I got out of the shower, my wallet had been cleared of all $200+ dollars I had, which was sitting on the dresser. I spoke to the front desk to which they responded, “we will make a note of it”. No apology, No follow up, no resolution... nothing!
It is sad that a hotel of this caliber had nothing to offer for this situation. I will never be back and I will make sure everyone I know hears of this situation.
It isn’t even about the money but the lack of concern for their guests.
