Editor’s Review of The Inn at Laguna Beach

Nestled on the bluffs overlooking beautiful Laguna Beach, the Inn at Laguna Beach is a 70-room luxury boutique hotel. The fully renovated hotel features a rooftop terrace, ideal for California sunset viewing, and comfortable seaside accommodations with larger balconies overlooking the ocean. Wake up to a selection of locally sourced, handmade breakfast favorites, including Artisan pastries and breads crafted daily by a local baker, or choose from an array of hot breakfast options such as a Spinach Florentine wrap, traditional breakfast burrito or bowl of steaming hot oatmeal. Round out your breakfast with sliced fresh fruit, a yogurt or bowl of your favorite cereal. All delivered to your door at the time you specify. The hotel also offers ... more something special for kids and adults in the evenings (think cookies and wine!). With an onsite pool, free beach amenities and even complimentary Wi-Fi, families staying at the Inn at Laguna Beach will easily find something to entertain them during their stay. less

Rooms located on the lower first floor in the Laguna wing have views of Laguna Beach, while rooms on the third, fourth and fifth floors, in the Pacific wing, provide seaside views. All rooms offer coffeemakers, mini-fridges, honor snack bars, free Wi-Fi and 32-inch, flat-screen TVs. Cribs are available upon request.

Ocean View
Standard Ocean View rooms do not have balconies or patios and only provide windowed views of the ocean, while Balcony Ocean View rooms offers a private patio with seating for two. Top Floor Ocean View rooms feature only a step-out balcony, but also the best views, which come at a premium. All rooms feature one king bed and a sitting area with a sofa bed.

Poolside rooms on the third floor offer one king or two queen beds. The rooms directly overlooking the pool do not offer walkout patios and guests in the pool can see right into the rooms, leaving a lack of privacy, which may come in handy if allowing older kids to swim without you -- you can easily keep an eye on them from the room.

Village rooms overlook the city of Laguna and do not offer any ocean views. They offer one king or two queen beds. These rooms feature walk-in showers with the exception of the Village queen rooms, which feature a combination shower and tub, great for bathing younger children.

Distinctive Suites
Guests staying on the top floor can pick from two Distinctive Suites, each with fabulous views. The Laguna Vista Suite features two queen beds and a sofa bed to sleep up to five in one room, with a 180-degree wraparound balcony. The Sunset Vista Suite features one king bed with one sofa bed and an oversized balcony.
