Overview

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, in the Southshore area of Tampa Bay, this waterfront inn boasts beautiful views, a restaurant serving American-Caribbean fare and three pools to splash and swim in.

Sunsets over the water are spectacular. Take them in by the tiki bar with live music, from your private patio or balcony, or at the onsite restaurant, Sunset Grill. You might even catch sight of a dolphin or manatee.

Sixty rooms and suites, as well as four two- and three-bedroom townhomes are available. All rooms have kitchens or kitchenettes and feature fantastic views.

Take a dip in one of the three pools or walk on the warm sands of the private beach. Complimentary chaise lounges and umbrellas are provided. There are countless ways to play the day away. Choose from beach volleyball, basketball, tennis, horseshoes or shuffleboard. A children’s playground is great for the little ones, and two fitness centers are available for the parents.

If you want to golf or visit Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, concierge is there to help plan your visit. In-room massages or simply the peace and quiet of this beautiful inn are sure to melt any stress away.

Room 502 - Beware!

by h0pefullyhelpful

This place is a crap shoot! It is a beautiful location, room was clean but dated. I'm ok with dated but I'm not ok with being put in a room where the curtains had a rather large rip in them. We were not in the room more than 5 minutes when we noticed the issue. I took a picture and brought it to the attention of the clerk who had just checked us in. The response was shocking! The woman told me "a lot" of the rooms have "issues". I was told they knew of the problem and would make another note in the system. When I asked why they would assign anyone to a room that they know had problems, I was told there was nothing they could do! I apologized for "bothering" them and as I was leaving the 2 people behind the desk, laughed at the fact I wanted them to do something about the problem!!! I've never been treated so poorly!

When I checked out, I brought the issue of the curtain and how the problem was handled to the attention of the person behind the desk. The woman apologized and said the management company is not responsible for maintenance of the rooms!!!! They only handle reservations and cleaning. Individual owners are responsible for maintaining the interiors. They removed the resort charge from my bill, but that doesn't stop them from putting someone else in that room! It makes no sense that there wouldn't be a minimum standard of room care for owners to continue booking thier rooms. Very disappointed!

Great location, Run down old place

Wall air conditioning unit made loud noise all night long which is not conducive for a good nights sleep. Over powering smell of chlorine bleach as we opened the door to the room. Furniture cushions were all dirty looking and not inviting. Newer TV hung on the wall but the ratty old cabinet that apparently housed the old tube tv was still in the room. Sloppy extension wiring along the wall by the tv and desk no conducive. If little kids were in the room.
