Years ago, I would have rated this place higher, but since the ownership changed it seems to have gone downhill in both quality and friendliness. We rented 3 connecting units, with a private pool area. The units had obviously not been well cleaned before our arrival. The area rug was full of debris, large dust balls and old raisins under the couch, the air vents were packed with dirt and dust, inside and out, showers had old, cracking, discolored grout, and one of the beds had a large amount of cracker crumbs on the bottom sheet! Outside, the pool area was filthy - needed pressure washing at the least! If we wanted housekeeping services there was a $25.00 charge, but we had no access to a vacuum or mops. Laundry was also an issue. We arrived on a Wednesday and towel exchange was Thursday and Monday. On Saturday, I rounded up all of the dirty towels and took them down to exchange them. That's when I found out about the exchange days and was told I'd have to take the towels back to my room and wait until Monday. As convenient as the place is for us to visit family, we won't be staying here again or recommending this as a resort to our friends. I only gave this a 2-star rating instead of one because it was convenient for visiting family.
