Overview

The InterContinental is located on the stylish Parizska, which means Paris Street. The street earned its name for its lux name brand shops, such as Chanel, Burberry, Prada, Hermes, Dior, Gucci and more. Strolling along the quiet street, past these upscale shops, visitors will discover the nearby Jewish Quarter and synagogues before ending at Old Town Square, where the streets transition from luxury into kitschy souvenir shops and overprized and overcrowded restaurants. Or, if turning right from the hotel, guests will immediately encounter the Vltava River, and crossing it, discover one of Prague’s parks and within minutes be in Lesser Town. It’s this central location that makes the InterContinental such a popular choice for visitors. And with its name brand and comfortable rooms and services, families will not be disappointed when selecting this property.

Reviews

Great Intercontinental Product

by AaronOko7

The Intercontinental Prague was an excellent product right smack in one of the coolest cities I’ve ever been. As an Ambassador Platinum member I was promptly greeted with an upgrade in addition to the host of amenities offered on the property. The fine dining restaurant Zlata Praha with amazing 9th floor view was phenomenal and not overly bougie as many of these restaurants trying too hard often are. The restaurant did it with sophistication, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent food. We look forward to returning in the Spring!

Old hotel maintains quality

by TomiWhai

The Prague Interconti has managed to sustain an appropriate air of old school hotel charm with excellent service all round. The East Blockish 80's exterior is pretty cool too. Location is perfect and the Executive Room we had was good with great views.

Family Activities

The city hotel is best for families looking for activities outside of the hotel doors. However, when returning to rest from traversing the city's cobbled streets, a dip in the hotel's pool is refreshing for adults, as is a play space for kids.

Family Dining

Duke's Bar & Café
For grab-and-go pastries, coffees and snacks, visit Duke's in the hotel lobby. Open daily from 9 a.m. to noon, as well as in the evenings for drinks and sit-down meals.

Primator Restaurant
For breakfast daily, visit Primator with floor-to-ceiling views of the Vltava River. A breakfast buffet can be included in your stay with your room, with a la carte options also available. The restaurant is open from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Zlata Praha Restaurant
The hotel's premier restaurant is its ninth floor, upscale dinner spot, Zlata. The romantic restaurant features gorgeous river views with Prague's castle as the backdrop, and serves as a place for holiday meals and special events for city goers and guests alike.

Planning & Tips

All About the Extras
Wi-Fi is provided in all rooms and public spaces, at no additional charge to guests.

The Art of Smart Timing
Prague is the capital city of Czech Republic and makes for a year-round destination. In the summer, its many parks and public spaces come alive with flowers and shady trees, and a tour along the river is refreshing, while in the winter, the city's Christmas markets and lights transform the magical city. The less visited travel periods are in the late spring and fall months.

Getting There
The hotel is located along the Vltava River and is about 30 minutes from Prague's international airport. Taxis are plentiful and will run about 40 euro.

Getting Around
The best part of a stay at this hotel is its location. It is within walking distance of Prague's best attractions, including those found in Old Town Square, Lesser Town and the Jewish Quarter. Once situated at this property, your family can walk to many attractions or enjoy a quick and inexpensive taxi ride to those attractions a little further afield.

For Mom and Dad
The hotel offers a full-service spa with massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, body treatments and a fitness center with a sauna.
