A perfect location for a hotel----it overlooks the Verde Valley with views of the red rocks of Sedona all the way to the highest peak in Arizona; Mt. Humphrey's at over 12,000 feet is seen on the horizon. I knew nothing of the hotel before arrival and was glad to find it in keeping with the mining town vibe and not just another modern cookie-cutter lodging. The elevator is fascinating, and the hotel decor transports you back to an earlier time. You are given a room key---a real key--- which you will also need to access your room floor. The rooms are smallish but tastefully appointed and will satisfy all but the most hauty traveler. We did not know about the supposed paranormal activity until we read the guest register upon check in, and we learned our room (24) was a doctors office so what small fraction of my belief in such things was put at ease. We did, however, have an unexplained occurance in our room. The bathroom sink had a groove made into it that fit my comb perfectly, and before I retired for the night I put the comb in the sink for the night. I got up at around 4am to use the restroom, and on the way to the bathroom stepped on my comb. My partner promises she did not move it!

We had an amazing time , the hotel is perfect ! Beautiful rooms, amazing friendly staff, this place has it all! Can’t wait to return for more memories and fun thank you Jerome Grand Hotel. We stayed in room 37B. Very nice room on the 3rd floor. We chose that Floor for some ghostly encounters. Although they were being shy that night the experience was unforgettable! The only thing I’d change would be the navigation directions on getting there. It’s a bit confusing for first time visitors knowing which road leads to the Hotel. The navigation had us go on a steep dirt road the “ original” road to the hotel. It worked out fine just a bit nervous where it was leading us with no room to turn around. I’d also recommend new visitors to plan on walking once parked at the hotel. It’s an easy walk to all the amazing places Jerome has to offer. We will definitely be returning.
