The family- and pet-friendly accommodations at the Kalaloch Lodge, located near Olympic National Park, offer one or two queen beds, coffee makers, ocean views and walking sticks. The Lodge has standard rooms, cabins, a house for rent and a camp area. Some are pet-friendly and none have Internet access or TV’s, so families will truly feel closer to nature and far from technology when staying here. Hike through Olympic National Park and enjoy a meal at the Creekside Restaurant at the end of the day. A children’s menu is available.

This was our first time staying at Kalaloch. We spent four nights and were impressed by the kindness of the employees, who sincerely and successfully responded to our needs. We stayed in the Kalaloch cabins; they are cheaper than the Bluff cabins but no less comfortable; you just don't get the views. Since we were out during daylight hours, that was not a problem. The dining room was a bit dated but fun; most of all, the server was genuine, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The food was good and a decent value for the price. All this said, the ratio price/value seems to lead us to a different place next time; although this is a special place, some of the other facilities nearby that are operated by the local tribe, as some of our friends have told us that they are clean and pleasant.

Cabins are a bit rustic and some have kitchenettes, some don't etc etc. Never sure what you will get. We had dogs. Had to get 2 rooms since 3 dogs was too many for a double. Great little rooms though. Fantastic view.
