Opened in 1912, the Kalispell Grand Hotel has welcomed visitors to Kalispell’s historic downtown for more than 100 years. Through the decades, the hotel underwent a number of ownership changes, and, in 1989, received an extensive renovation. Today, the property features 40 rooms with private baths, each with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. There are a number of guestroom styles that would accommodate a family of up to four. However, for larger families or additional space, book the family room, which is a two-room suite. The first room contains a king bed, while the second room comes with two full beds. Plus, each room has its own TV. Families also will love the hotel’s “kids stay free” policy, as well as the complimentary continental breakfast. Each afternoon, guests also can enjoy fresh-baked cookies and just-popped popcorn. This pet-friendly hotel even offers homemade treats for your furry family members.

The rooms were comfortable, a little on the small side, but beds super comfy, staff was very accommodating, am coffee, tea, etc. Cute gift shop with local artisans in the hotel. Our room had a window ac unit but kept us cool as the evening temps were in the 50's. We were able to get Uber drivers to help us get to places not in walking distance.
We stayed one night on the way to Glacier National Park. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful with restaurant suggestions and area info. The hotel is charming, bed comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring the cute downtown area of Kalispell. The continental breakfast was a nice start to the day.
