Overview

The Kana Kuta hotel is a contemporary stylish resort centred around a pool and sun loungers which caters to couples and families. It has a choice of Family Rooms, Family Triples or Family Duplex Rooms to suit small or larger families. There are two restaurants and a pool bar to eat and drink at. Star Anise is an Indonesian restaurant serving traditional dishes from around the island where a Balinese dance performance entertains diners three times a week.

There’s a kid’s corner located next to the lobby with a colourful play-mat and a collection of toys, books and games to keep little ones entertained while on vacation. The resort prides itself on its Balinese hospitality and friendly staff. A babysitting service is available for families at an extra cost.

My Best Choice

The Kana Kuta hotel is located in a convenient location. The famous legion street & Kuta beach can be reached by walk in few minutes, and at the same time the hotel is located in a silent street without any noise pollution.

The biggest plus point of this hotel are its staff. Be it the front desk staff, or the restaurant staff or even the room boys and security. The ever smiling, Neve tiring faces welcome you warmly. They are very courteous, gives you the space and kind.

The pool is good and not crowded. It's open till late (21:00 hrs ).

Breakfast is standard buffet with breads, eggs, juice etc, but also has the local cuisine additionally such as Nasi Gorang.

The entrance to the hotel is beautiful with the bamboo arches, which actually gives you a Instagram location.

The cloth hanger in balcony is very useful if you return from beach or pool to quickly dry your wet cloths.

I have two suggestions for improvement.

1. The bathroom - adding bath tub will make this hotel a complete one. Added to this, if the smoked glass wall of bathroom towards the bed can be made bigger at side of tub, which makes the room & stay more romantic.

2. The roof of poolside dining actually blocks the view of the beautiful pool from the balcony of the rooms. This roof can be made retractable and kept retracted except when there is hot Sun.

Overall, I was very happy with my wife's selection of this hotel for our stay.
Real value for money and full of happiness during the stay.

Small comfortable stay in Kuta

We stayed at Kana Kuta on our vacation in Bali, stayed there July 9-10.

Location is away from the crazy and loud Jl. Legian, but close enough to the beach, near Bali Galeria Mall and DFS.
Checking in was quick and easy.
Everybody is the hotel is very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in a room with a loft bed area, the room is small, but it is a good room for family of 4.
There is small swimming pool adjacent to the breakfast/dinning area.
The breakfast does not have a lot of choice, but adequate with Indonesian or Western food.
There is supermarket and lots of food places, all of them within walking distance.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience staying in Kana Kuta Hotel, the room was clean, location was great, and everybody was friendly and helpful.
We don't mind to stay here again in the future if we go to Kuta again.
