Kimpton cardinal is an amazing place. Great experience and amazing staff. Visit the bar and if you are lucky you will meet Chris smith. He concocts great drinks and holds great conversations. Cheers kimpton
We came for a one night “staycation” and booked a king room. The rate was decent but the room was small and sparsely furnished. They acknowledged our anniversary but didn’t have anything special in the room. Not much seating, tiny “king” bed, no full length mirror despite plenty of open space to hang one, not enough seating. We had brought champagne to celebrate a milestone but the room was so small and univiting, it wasn’t really a space you’d sit and enjoy a drink. Bathroom open shower was squeaky and left water all over the floor with the open design.
We did enjoy the wine hour in the lobby from 5-6. If you don’t like dogs or are allergic, this isn’t the place to hang out because they are everywhere. Bring your own snacks or hit the bar bc the only complimentary food at happy hour was veggies and self serve ranch.
