Fantastic hotel

We stayed here for 4 nights, we wanted to be able to get away from the strip. Couldn't have picked a better place. Only about 15-20 mins from the strip,and the property is beautiful. Very old time high class feel. Breakfast was great. The views with the mountains AMAZING. the staff was very friendly and willing to help. Rooms clean and I live the bathrooms.

June 2016 Trip to Lake Las Vegas

We wanted to visit the Grand Canyon this summer so we started our planning last summer. We book things a little at a time to spread out the cost.

I started in August 2015 by booking our airline flights to Las Vegas through Delta. As I was researching Las Vegas, I was pretty sure we would not want to stay there as it's just not our cup of tea (we don't drink, party, gamble, etc). I stumbled upon Lake Las Vegas through VRBO. If you want to stay away from the strip but still be close, this is the ideal location. We absolutely loved this place!! It was beautiful, quiet, off the beaten path but still close to lots of things. It was about 20 mins. from Las Vegas. While it's true that it has seen more prosperous and busy times, it was perfect for us. We rented a boat one day for an hour and drove around the lake. You will not be disappointed!!
