No-Value Resort Fee

by carolet360

While the resort itself is very nice - the units, the views, the location - the $28 + (with taxes) resort fee is why we won't stay here again. You pay the resort fee for the amenities of the pool, the hot tub, the outside fire pits, none of which we used. We wouldn't have complained if we at least could have parked there. 6 of the 7 nights, all the parking was taken, and we had to park across very busy Hwy 50. This was at least a 10 minute cold walk away. The one night we parked at the resort was the night we stayed in. So we paid almost $200 for the week, and weren't able to park near the resort.

Lovely room but....

If you are not an owner here you will just get a noisy street view room. Even if you requested a lake view because you are celebrating a special occasion. Not for you only for OWNERS. Don’t let the twits at the front desk forget to give you the key in the welcome package. Then you’ll be rushed off to concierge for timeshare. After not being very accommodating WHY would I want to buy at a Diamond resort? I can never connect to their complimentary WiFi. Housekeeping gets an A+ Immaculate. Not very accommodating and they can learn from Hilton resorts what hospitality means. NO would not recommend and NO would not stay here again even if you paid me.
