I attended this ranch with my partner and his family over the past week. This was my first time at a dude ranch and I will say that I was apprehensive. From day one, however, Latigo provided an amazing experience and I am blown away by how awesome of a week we had. Latigo provides an experience for all ages and experience levels, which is great considering I am not an avid rider. The itinerary for the week catered to all interests, including rock climbing, rafting, yoga, hiking, and more. I cannot say enough how professional the staff were as well. We were picked up and dropped off in Kremmling as needed with zero hesitation from management. If you're considering a dude ranch experience, or are exploring new ranch options, give Latigo a chance, you will NOT be disappointed!
I recently traveled to Latigo Ranch for the third time in approximately 20 years and found it to be an incredible experience once again. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly, the food is excellent, the scenery is outstanding, the lodging is wonderful, and it is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.
On my most recent trip to the ranch we were a group of six. Our experience level with regards to riding was fairly variable but we all got what we wanted out of the trip, and felt very well-supported by the wranglers.
I found the pacing of the week to be a definite strength; there are two rides offered Monday-Friday, and supplemental activities such as rock climbing or rafting help to break things up. By the end of the week I felt that I had done a lot, but never felt rushed or like I didn't have a moment to catch my breath. It was such an enjoyable experience, and I look forward to my next trip there.
