Located just five minutes from Delhi’s Safdarjung Airport, the Leela Palace New Delhi offers a luxurious stay in a location convenient to both onward travels in India and to exploring one of the country’s largest cities. Rooms are spacious with a choice of king or queen beds and come with a work desk and soaking tubs for a refreshing dip at the end of a sticky Delhi day. There are also separate seating areas in the rooms so you can stretch out and relax. A free breakfast with Indian and international food is offered every morning, and the hotel has four restaurants and three bars and lounges for onsite dining throughout the day. There’s a temperature controlled pool and hot tub area on the rooftop that makes for a nice place to wind down after a busy day exploring the hectic city. Other onsite amenities include a fitness center and spa.

Close to the hotel you’ll find restaurants, museums and many cultural sites, and the concierge can help with arranging a car and driver so you can head out and about in a safe way. There is also a market nearby where you can pick up authentic Indian crafts, clothes and food.

Nice hotel

by Cyn3011

Stayed for two nights at the beginning of our holiday to India. We were picked up b
y the hotel car for the airport. We booked it because it was convenient and couldn’t be bothered to faff around at the airport sorting taxis after a long flight. However is it so pricey, if you have time I recommend getting your own cab from the airport which is what we did for the way back. The hotel is nice and fancy. It was a good base not too far from the airport and convenient to get to other places. The Japanese restaurant is tasty. We lounged by the hotel pool a bit, but not too much as the pollution in Delhi had reached hazardous levels when we were there. On a good day it seems like there would be a great view from the rooftop!
Breakfast has a lot of choices to suit anyone.
Staff are all very helpful. Would stay again!

In New Delhi you cant go wrong with a stay at Leela Palace

Three nights with the family. Staff is excellent. Centralized tipping is brilliant. The room was well appointed and the shower simply fantastic.

We didn’t get to check out the roof top pool (we’ll be back) and the security is well intentioned.

Breakfast at the Qube was included in the room price and worth it! Very good choices and fresh Indian and westerns made to order items including uthapam and omelet.

Never felt rushed. Serene respite from the smog and dust that envelop Delhi.
