Fantastic Hotel For Kids / Great Hotel Manager (Julius R!)

by JodyM_2

We absolutely loved this hotel and can't wait to visit again!

Check in: we paid for early check in, waited in a short line, and had our keys within ten minutes. The kids found the slide next to the main staircase in the lobby and we had to beg them to leave and find our room. I forgot the name of the woman who checked us in (I'm so sorry!) but she was fantastic. We learned she spoke four languages, she knew the area well, and she was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Room: a parent's dream! Exactly as pictured on the website, bunk beds were awesome, Lego area was great, bathroom was large and pristine. The rooms are in great condition, carpets and beds feel clean. They include two Honest juices and two bottles of water each night you stay which was unexpected and awesome. The Keurig comes with coffee and hot chocolate pods, again - a nice touch and treat for the kiddos. The treasure chest was so cute, but my toddlers wanted to open it late at night and I was too tired to actually go find the answers. In case you fall in the same boat, the code was: 1221. :)

We definitely noticed the noise that folks have complained about. We were on the third floor, so no noise from above. But even with sound machines on, we heard kids running down the hallways.

Restaurant on site: I believe our amazing waiter was named Luis, and he was so awesome. Food was what I expected from a kid-centered hotel and we enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet was large and great. It did get busy during peak hours, so reservations recommended.

Playground area: this was my favorite area of the hotel! The adults got drinks, the kids played. It was heavenly. The hotel puts on adorable little events such as dragon puppet shows and dance parties with hula hoops.

We weren't able to visit the pool due to gloomy weather but it looked really awesome. Something to look forward to next time.

I also want to say a very BIG "thank you" to the hotel manager, Julius R. My son forgot the adorable dragon plush toy that he received as part of the birthday package. When I emailed the hotel to ask if I could pay them to ship it to us, Julius responded that he would Fed-Ex the dragon to us, no charge. I was blown away, it's not often that people go above and beyond any more. Thank you so much, Julius!

Great Spot for Kids AND Adults

by VeraCh789

This was our second trip to Legoland in the last few years. Last time we stayed at the Legoland Hotel and loved it... but we were super excited to try out the Castle Hotel. It did not disappoint! The room was clean and comfortable and the grounds were lovely..our son loved the play areas, the kids nightly entertainment and the pool was perfect (and with the amazing lifeguards on duty actually interacting with folks, I have never felt so safe). When we first checked in we were almost overwhelmed with everything to look at and do, but an employee passing by (Jorge Martinez) jumped in and helped direct us to where we wanted to go. We also happened to be there Mother's Day weekend and the hotel offered all the Mom's free mimosas, cookies and flowers.. what a thoughtful touch! Amazing spot and can't wait to visit again!
