The Library Hotel is a luxury boutique building in Midtown near the New York Public Library, Bryant Park and the Pierpont Morgan Library. Guests at Library enjoy breakfasts with muffins, fruit and boiled eggs. Also, guests can sample wine and cheese at evening receptions, use wireless Internet and visit the nearby New York Sports club — all for free. Families can stay in one of 60 rooms on 10 floors. The rooms are well-appointed with dark wood furnishings, creamy linens and calming colors that take guests away from the busy streets. Each room has a collection of books and each floor has a different topic, for instance Literature or Philosophy. Rooms are also equipped with DVD players, bath robes and free cable with premium movies. Suites offer more space to spread out with sitting areas, sofa beds and mini-bars. Family Units consist of two rooms. The Reading Room is great place where guests can curl up with a book and gaze out at the city. Writer’s Den has a fireplace, large television and enclosed garden terrace. A DVD library is a good place to kids to pick out a good movie for the evening. When hunger pangs strike, families can dine at Madison & Vine Restaurant at Library Hotel. The American bistro is open for lunch and dinner. Beyond your room, many museums, parks and famous New York City attractions await.
