We stayed here for a few days to enjoy New Year's Eve in New York with friends, and I think we all agreed it's probably the nicest hotel we've stayed in while in NYC to date. Staff are friendly and helpful, and rooms are well tended and clean with an evening turn-down service.
The reading room is an excellent place to relax of an evening, enjoying wine, cheese and other nibbles at leisure, and breakfasts are also well presented in here - they're continental only, but there's an abundance of nearby eateries if you're after something more substantial. The hotel is in a great location for the sights and sounds of NYC. This is quite a bespoke hotel and not your run-of-the-mill chain affair, with quirks aplenty adding to a unique character.
Loved our stay at the Library Hotel over Christmas (2018). The staff are helpful and friendly, always eager to help. The continental breakfast was a lovely bonus, and more than I expected. The afternoon wine and cheese was also a wonderful bonus. Would definitely recommend the Library Hotel
