Located on a quiet, wooded setting in Bradford, Pennsylvania, The Lodge at Glendorn is a beautiful destination resort that beckons couples and families to escape the busy day-to-day and relax. Deluxe, family-friendly amenities include a heated, outdoor pool (open seasonally); kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding on Bondieu Lake; snowshoeing and cross-country skiing; tennis; bike rentals; fly fishing (with ORVIS equipment provided); a top-notch spa; and hiking opportunities galore. Lawn games and organized activities, such as bonfires with S’mores, are also part of the fun at this Pennsylvania resort.

Guestrooms and suites are available in the Main Lodge and Guest House, but the resort’s best accommodations are the cozy cabins, each one named and decorated differently. Cabins, some of which are pet-friendly, tout fireplaces. Cabin guests also enjoy private bonfires, set up by resort staff.

A weekend in the Fall at Glendorn

We returned to Glendorn this past weekend. It was perfect. Shane Appleby, an expert guide and Outdoorsman, coached me on the finer points of Spey casting, pointed out a number of good spots on Fuller Brook, were I later caught several very nice brown and Brook trout. My dear wife enjoyed the spa with a facial. A glass of fresh apple cider with a spot of bourbon on the patio, under a brilliant blue autumn sky was impossible to beat. The Dorn Suite in the Big House was like staying in a Scottish country home.
Glendorn is the Jewel of The East.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Glendorn is absolutely a beautiful place to stay. We stayed at the Clayts cabin. It was marvelous. It had recently been updated according to the staff. We could not have been more comfortable. The food was delicious.
While there I had a spa treatment which was fabulous and the spa manager was very professional and curtious.
We spent time at the stable visiting the horses. Laurie was amazing.

The staff could not have been more helpful. They were wonderful. We can't wait to go back.
