This beautiful boutique hotel is great for all types of travelers — families, couples, or those flying solo. Stay in a Spanish-colonial-style “fireside Casita” room in the original section of the property (dating back as far as the 1930s), or get a little more modern in a deluxe room, which were added in 2009. Either choice means total comfort: from the memory foam bedding to the terry-lined bathrobes. Rooms also feature mini-fridges, free Wi-Fi, and bath amenities.
Breakfast is offered at the onsite Lodge Restaurant for a fee or as part of a package, and you can enjoy lunch, dinner, and bar snacks there as well (children’s menus available. During your stay, you’ll enjoy the 24-hour pool and Jacuzzi, great views of the Arizona scenery, and easy access to many of Tucson’s best attractions.

We spent 3 most enjoyable nights here. The room décor was both functional and imbued with a pleasant Southwest vibe. I especially enjoyed the wonderful bathtub. Our bed was quite comfortable and the area was very quiet. We enjoyed the delicious complimentary breakfast each morning and happy hour cocktails in the evenings. Every staff member we met was both friendly and helpful. Since the location is convenient to a variety of Tucson activities, the Lodge was a perfect home base for our Tucson visit.

Wanted to visit Tucson & feel Tucson @ the same time. Lodge on the Desert does just that. Beautiful cactus gardens along w/bountiful flora that is really lovely. The staff was very helpful, especially Emma @ the Front Desk & Luis in the Bar (wonderful cocktails). The indoor/outdoor restaurant is so welcoming in the morning - even more so w/the FP burning day or night. Will definitely stay there in the future. Located nicely w/in the City.
