Situated atop a scenic hill, The Lodges at Gettysburg offers ideal accommodations for large groups. Families retreat to spacious cabins with rustic decor, and appreciate the conveniences of kitchenettes (or full kitchens in some units) and free Wi-Fi. The Captain’s Lodge and General’s Lodge sleep two to four guests, while the Presidential and Leiutenant’s Lodges can accommodate six. North and South Lodges sleep up to eight in three king or queen beds (each in separate rooms), plus a sleeper sofa. Note: Not all units provide bathtubs; inquire when booking if this is important to your family. Most units provide fireplaces and small patios with fantastic views.
Added perks include complimentary, continental breakfast and a lake, where organized games are occasionally hosted. The resort also features a spa and ballroom — it’s extremely popular for weddings.

While returning from visiting family in South Carolina, we planned a side trip to Gettysburg. Stayed at the Lodges at Gettysburg. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Cabins were located in a quiet, non-commercial area, with a FANTASTIC view. Cabins were semi-period themed, furnishings were very comfortable. Staff was very courteous. Would love to return.
We are here as I write this and love it. We have a two-room lodge with one bedroom (2 queen beds) and a living area with a sofa, coffee table, a little kitchen with sink, fridge, microwave, cutlery and plates, etc. (including wine glasses) and a little dining table and chairs. The staff is great. The bathroom is enormous. The place is absolutely charming and clean.
The breakfast is not included but is only $6 per person if you choose to have it. It's a continental breakfast, so not for big eaters, but it's great as a time saver if you want something small and quick.
There is a lake where you can fish and loads of trails here. There's so much to do in the area, though, that we won't likely take advantage of these things.
We will definitely recommend this place to friends (already have, in fact) and will try to stay here again if we return to Gettysburg.
