This boutique hotel describes themselves as providing a “time travel adventure,” with its Americana style pairing retro-inspired decor with modern comfort. Release your inner cowboy as you sit around one of the outdoor campfire circles to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. Stop for a full meal at the Water Trough restaurant or the Feed Store food truck. Take a dip in the inviting outdoor pool and pretend it’s a swimming hole in the middle of the wilderness.
Every room is outfitted with fun touches like a sliding barn door to the bathroom, knotted-pine dresser, braided rug, and retro metal headboards. Open up your full-sized retro Smeg fridge to reveal mini-bar beverages and snacks in wooden bottle crates. Not everything is history-style, though — not many Texas cowboys were able to enjoy monogrammed linens, soft bathrobes, or complimentary bath products, and they certainly didn’t browse the web on free Wi-Fi.
Wake up to enjoy a complimentary breakfast of eggs, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit, coffee, and juice, as the staff welcomes you with a smile, and eat outside near the pool or by the fireplace in the sunlight-filled dining area.

Room was neat and different which I liked. Shower was great. Bed was comfy. But - I would rather have a door that opens to an interior corridor rather than the outside. And room was Too warm. Seemed a little expensive for what we got. Might be more fun with a group.

I stayed at the hotel recently for a work trip. Wennie was so kind during breakfast each day. She was warm and welcoming and treated me like I was family. Every day she asked how I was doing and how work was going, and even said she would miss me when I left. Her presence and professionalism made my whole experience better. I look forward to returning and continuing our conversations.
