Lonesome Cove sits at the northend of San Juan Island on the banks of Spieden Channel and consists of five cozy beachfront log cabins, a waterfront Boathouse and an apartment, all of which have a view of the channel, wildlife and the sunset. All include fresh linens and bath towels upon arrival (although the resort doesn’t offer laundry or housekeeping). The cabins are steps from the water, and four of them have a full kitchen with dishes and basic cookware and an old-fashioned percolator for brewing coffee. There’s also a private bedroom, private bath, fireplace, and a living room with a futon for a maximum of four guests total.

Started every morning with hot chocolate on the deck and ended every evening with a glass of wine enjoying the amazing sunsets over the water. Between the welcoming hosts, library full of books and games, fireplace in our cabin, and the amazing views I couldn't have asked for more. Can see why people come back year after year.
Were here in 1986 and 1987 and the place is as laid back and as lovely as then.
Clean cabins , well landscaped gardens. A joy to be able to spend lazy afternoons on the point watching all of the comings and goings of eagles, geese, seagulls and one whale. So different from the hectic pace of Roche Harbour and Friday Harbour
Big thanks to the new caretakers Kim and Carl. You are both so welcoming and do such a great job on the garden areas and the remaining grounds.
Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday and the smoked salmon— a real treat.
