Former guests say the walls are thin, but kids will appreciate the pool and beach access, while adults may be glad to have the in-room refrigerator. The front desk offers complimentary ear plugs.

Freshly updated, convenient

Very freshly updated, simple décor, comfy bed, nice amenities (shampoo, body wash, etc.) Appreciated the mini fridge and convenient location central to Malibu. View was partially obstructed, but overall enjoyed our stay in nice, clean facility. No "lobby" and very tiny check-in area, but it works.

Construction Noise

I’m staying here for 8 days on biz and have had to listen to the room construction for several days already. I get that they want to renovate but perhaps upon booking it should’ve been mentioned. It’s extremely loud each day from 9-5pm and hindering my work/overall stay experience. Also should be noted that this is a motel, not a hotel.. which is reflected in the noise level (thin walls) and cleanliness.
