Located 75 miles from New York City in the Pocono Mountains, Malibu Dude Ranch offers 800 acres of family fun, with activities that also include hayrides, bonfires and bingo. Overnight rates include all meals and most activities. Special “Guest Participation” rodeos are scheduled on holiday weekends. The ranch offers a range of accommodations, including Main Lodge rooms and private cabins, a chalet and a boat house with suites, the latter of which feature expanded room for families and large groups. Many accommodations have recently been upgraded. Guestrooms are not furnished with TVs, so guests can enjoy a technology-light vacation.

Entire family including the two girls and parents were wonderful, welcoming and made you feel like family. Had been there on multiple day trips and did an overnight with my family for my daughters 18th birthday. They had a party set up for us and we danced the night away in the saloon. Great memories made there. Sad to see it closed. I wish the family all the best!!

We stayed at Malibu Dude Ranch 3 times over the course of 2018-2019 and had a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing as well as the trail rides and food, the whole place and experience had a very cozy, family feel to it. I can thank Malibu Dude Ranch for introducing my daughter to horses who now loves to ride and for making my childhood dream of riding in the woods come true. I wish we knew it was closing so we could go one last time. We wish the staff all the best, we'll always think of Malibu Dude Ranch with happy memories!
