A Good Place to Stay

by hawkins739

The service here is provided by the friendly owner and his family and is excellent. They know what there is to see and where to go.

The rooms are typical motel style and are spacious and well-equipped. The location is conveniently near the centre of Williamstown and not far from the fantastic Clark Institute. Restaurants are not far away and a very adequate continental breakfast is included in the room price.

A very good place to stay to see the autumn colours.

Delightful

by BR-889

The Maple Terrace is charming, and the owners are delightful. They showed a genuine interest in us and in our visit, and made a suggestion for a scenic drive that turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Our room, though the closest to the roadway, was perfectly quiet, and the free breakfast options were plentiful and of a good variety, including healthy options. We heard several other travelers complimenting the owners on their accommodations as they were checking out, and we agree with their positive opinions. If we get back to the northern Berkshires, we would definitely enjoy a second stay here.
