Overview

Rooms at the Maxwell Inn accommodate a family of up to four, with their largest option including two queen beds (although there is also an affiliated two-bedroom vacation home on a separate property). The hotel is clean and comfortable, breakfast and wifi are provided for free, the owners and staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable.

Although there is no pool, the hot tub is open year round, as is the fire pit on the patio. Join the owner’s family for an outdoor movie night each Friday of summer: they play a G or PG-rated film at 8:30, posting the titles in the lobby beforehand.

Great place to stay

by Jill J

Traveled with daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. The Inn is with in walking distance to shopping. Quite. Great views of the mountains. We had 2 rooms both 2 queen beds, fireplace with timer, 2 sitting chairs. Lots of windows. Large closet and nice size bathroom.
A plus was a large elk that just “hung out” there our entire stay. Went horse back riding right across the road.
A light continental breakfast was nice. Staff was very helpful. Beds were super comfortable. Bath products were great. Loved the tube of lip balm.
We will definitely stay here again.

Expertly managed boutique hotel in great location!

by Shuttrrbug

Peter and Dana do an outstanding job with this boutique hotel in Estes Park. Clean, comfortable, nice size rooms and quiet. Bathroom a bit small for someone 6'4" like me, had to squeeze in. Breakfast, even though continental, has more options than normal, many healthy. The location is great, close to the Fall River Entrance station to Rocky Mountain National Park, and a few miles from a very busy downtown and restaurants. Has a neighborhood feel too, even walkable for those so inclined. RMNP is so outstanding, we will return, and more than likely stay at this hotel.
