Reviews

Decor has not changed since the 70's!

When booking we checked out reviews and noted reviews were very good. We do not share the same view point. Yes, the location is great, but that is where it ends. The place is dated. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. It was 2 rooms billed as an apartment. For the price we expected at least 4 stars...not a 1 or 2 star establishment. This place has not seen an update in over 4 decades. Furniture that was in disrepair and look like it came from a Value Village thrift shop. The dinning room table looks like it had been through a war and the chairs did not match and were not safe to sit on. The red velour curtains were icky. The bathrooms had been updated and were clean. The kitchen had more modern appliances but the kitchen itself had not seen a remodel...I'm thinking ever??? The carpets...well we would not walk barefoot on. Although there was 3 thermostats in the space, none seemed to work and the temperature was sweltering. I am shocked by some of the positive reviews...I can only imagine that we received the basement room that does not have the amenities as posibly the rest of the place does??? I am not sure we were at the same place as the other reviewers? We were disappointed and had hoped for better given the price!

Excellent Value!

Comfortable and clean room with plenty of space, friendly staff, great breakfast, near the bus to Aspen Highlands. If you're looking for moderately-priced accommodations and aren't expecting luxury, this is it. What a find!
