New York Hilton Midtown towers 46 stories at Sixth Avenue and West 54th Street. More than 1,980 rooms and suites feature large windows with sweeping views of the city, contemporary furnishings in neutral colors and plenty of space to spread out. Comfy Hilton Serenity bedding contains pillowtop mattresses, down duvets and feather pillows. Families can splurge on the five-bedroom penthouse for luxurious reunions, or stay in a suite with separate bedrooms and living areas. All rooms have marble baths and upscale bath products. Video games and refrigerators are available on request. The hotel hosts the Fitness Club and Spa that offers massages and facials. Two restaurants are at Hilton: Etrusca is a fine dining establishment with Tuscan delicacies that serves dinner only and Marketplace Cafe displays an open kitchen with American breakfast and lunch buffets. Starbucks is also at the hotel. A theater and transportation desk helps guests book shows and get around the city. A separate desk provides guidance in the area’s activities and recreational pastimes. Pets are welcome at New York Hilton Midtown.

Stayed here for 2 nights before going on a cruise. Very busy hotel but central for lots of the sites. Room was big and comfortable, breakfast was great, plenty of choice with friendly staff. View from our window was pretty amazing too.
The hotel room was dated. The mattress was visibly stained and saggy. Getting a decent (for a hotel) night sleep was impossible. The door had a 1 inch gap at the bottom that let light in...and did little to block sound from the hall. The front desk staff were unpleasant (excluding the general maintenance staff). I recommend staying elsewhere.
