We had such a wonderful birthday celebration staying at the Baccarat Hotel in NYC. Preferring smaller hotels , we selected the Baccarat because of its superb location and the more intimate feeling of the hotel. Though the room is truly lovely , what we enjoyed most was the staff from the doormen to the people who take your breakfast orders. The food happened to be excellent, but the creative seating and the enjoyment of our dining there added.

There was a small European feel to the hotel. We enjoyed the theme of the Baccarat crystal in decor though we might not have gone as far as the designer did with the first floor standing chandelier in the entrance lobby. Enjoyed very much the drama and creativity in other decorative touches in the dining areas. This is not a bustling hotel, but rather a discreet and elegant environment. We brought friends to enjoy breakfast with us and it was extremely pleasant and leisurely. The bedding and finishing touches in the room were of the highest quality. Lots of fun even though a pleasantly genteel feeling throughout the hotel.

Loved the hotel ! Great room this was one of my favorite place to stay in NY - or maybe my favorte. It’s close to times square, central park, 5th ave, just across of MoMa. The bar in this hotel is very nice !!! And the place where we had breakfast was really cool. Also there’s a BBQ place - Fogo de Chão- right next to it. The bathroom size is the only lowlight. If you’re willing to spend a little extra this is definitely the place to stay!
