Disney Cruise Line has signed an agreement to create a second island destination in the Bahamas. The new destination will be located at Lighthouse Point on South Eleuthera. Disney’s first island, Castaway Cay, is also located in the Bahamas.

According to an official press release from the Office of the Prime Minister in the Bahamas, the new destination will feature Bahamian cultural and artistic expression in both the design of the destination and the experiences offered to cruisers.

An official opening date has not yet been announced.

Disney Cruise Line recently announced it will also return to Greece next summer for the first time in five years, with bookings available now. For more information, visit Disney Cruise Line.
