Great Wolf Lodge New England opens to much fanfare this morning with a grand opening ceremony headed by Great Wolf Resorts’ CEO Kim Schaefer and Great Wolf Lodge New England General Manager Phil Cunningham at 10:30 a.m.
The new resort, located in Fitchburg, Mass., becomes Great Wolf Resorts’ 12th indoor water park resort. The 406 all-suite resort provides 12 suite configurations in two wings, each with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. All guests receive admission to the resort’s 68,000-square-foot indoor water park, exclusive only to guests of the resort. The resort also feature on-site dining, special seasonal events, bowling, an arcade, mini golf, laser tag, story time, a kids’ spa, indoor playground, a 30-foot ropes adventure course, and more, making it an all-season destination resort.
“It’s hard to beat a weekend getaway, within driving distance, where parents know they can entertain everyone in the family from morning to night,” says Schaefer.
Great Wolf also operates properties in Wisconsin Dells, Wisc.; Sandusky, Ohio; Traverse City, Mich.; Kansas City, Ks.; Williamsburg, Va.; Poconos, Pa.; Niagara Falls, Canada; Grapevine, Texas; Grand Mound, Wash.; and Concord, N.C. A California location will be opening in 2015.
