Big things are happening at Great Wolf Lodge in the Pocono Mountains! Everyone’s favorite water park resort is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation that will include all-new guestrooms, attractions, and dining options. Here’s what to expect:

Guestrooms
Each of the resort’s 401 guestrooms will be updated with modern decor and furnishings inspired by the Northwoods theme that’s found throughout Great Wolf Lodge properties. The ever-popular, kid-themed suites, including the Wolf Den and KidCabin suites, will also receive a refresh, but will remain the same in design.

Attractions
Exciting attractions will include a new interactive kids’ adventure area, just outside of the water park, as well as a reinvented MagiQuest game. But perhaps the best new attraction will be Oliver’s Mining Company, where families will have a chance to explore the Moonstone Mine and sift through silt and sand for themed gemstones.

Restaurants
The property will open three new food establishments: The Great Wolf Candy Company, Ben & Jerry’s and Dunkin Donuts (which will replace the current coffee shop). Yum! The resort’s pizza parlor, Hungry as a Wolf, will also be refurbished.

The guestrooms, which are part of the first phase of renovations, are expected to be complete by 2019. Updates to the lobby will also be complete early next year.

Don’t worry — the resort’s water park and attractions will remain open during renovations. Phew!
