Kimpton Opens New Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Boutique hotel chain Kimpton Hotels has opened its newest property this week in Washington, D.C. Kimpton Glover Park Hotel becomes the brand’s 10th District of Columbia hotel.

The Glover Park Hotel, named for its proximity to Glover Archibald Park north of Georgetown, is a 154-room hotel. Twenty-one of its guest rooms feature fully equipped kitchenettes, including a small refrigerator, microwave, dishes, glassware and utensils. Twenty-five rooms feature unobstructed views of the National Mall and Potomac River, and provide telescopes to hone in on the great views.

Guests of the Glover Park Hotel will enjoy onsite dining at Casolare Italian restaurant and family-friendly amenities. The Grow with Glover Park program provides a custom coloring books, jogging strollers, high chairs, booster seats, and more kids’ gear available upon request. On Friday afternoons, the hotel hosts Family Hour with kid-friendly amenities, games and a caricature artist on hand to capture family memories. Adults may also enjoy Kimpton’s renowned hosted wine hour, and on Wednesdays, enjoy love jazz music by some of the best artists in the city.

Kimpton also provides complimentary shuttles to and from the Woodley Park Metro Station and Smithsonian National Zoo, free bike rentals, free coffee and tea, and complimentary Wi-Fi, for Karma Rewards members.
