Gaylord National Resort’s annual ICE! holiday theme wows guests every Christmas season, and this year it promises to be even bigger and better. The new theme, Christmas Around the World, will showcase different cultures and their festivities during the ninth annual Christmas on the Potomac celebration.

Gaylord National, located in the National Harbor on Washington, D.C., will bring its ICE! attraction back November 19, 2016, through January 1, 2017. Guests and visitors can enjoy holiday traditions from countries like England, Germany, Mexico and even China, which will feature hand carved ice sculptures.

Christmas on the Potomac will also include Peanuts character breakfasts with Charlie Brown and friends, the Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunt, and a new Build-a-Bear workshop. Nightly fountain shows, indoor snowfalls, visits with Santa, indoor train rides, gingerbread decorating and Christmas Cookies Around the World cooking classes will also be available.

ICE! early-bird tickets are on sale now starting at $24 for adults and climbing to $36 after October 1. Guests choosing to stay at the Gaylord receive free tickets to ICE! with a one-night stay. Rates begin at $199 per night.
