San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf Set to Debut Underground Attraction

A brand new drop ride will debut Halloween weekend in San Francisco’s popular Fisherman’s Wharf area. The $1-million underground attraction, “Escape Alcatraz,” will be a new thrill ride addition to the San Francisco Dungeon.

The San Francisco Dungeon’s 60-minute dungeon experience features characters, costumes and horrifying sets and will add “Escape Alcatraz” as its thrilling finale. The ride, which will be six feet underground, will hold 18 people per drop for a 33-second ride time. The entire attraction’s nine sets teaches visitors about Alcatraz and its infamous past and operates continuously 365 days per year.

Admission for the San Francisco Dungeon in San Francisco starts at $22 per adult.
