Stowe Mountain Resort is opening its world-class skiing and snowboarding on Saturday. Nov. 19, 2016. With snowmaking facilities, the mountain resort is slating to open its Forerunner Quad lift at 7:30 a.m. for the 2016-17 ski season.
New this Ski & Ride season is Stowe’s $80-million Adventure Center with amenities for kids and families. Located at Spruce Peak, the new Adventure Center features children’s programs, ski and ride lessons for ages 3 and up, an Indoor climbing center, family dining and new shops.
The opening day is weather-permitting.
