Thomas Land has officially opened at Edaville USA, a small amusement park in Carver, Massachusetts.

The new area, designed for young children, features 11 rides inspired by popular characters: Bertie’s Bus Tours, Cranky’s Crane Drop, Diesel Derby, Firefighting Flynn, Harold’s Lift-Off, Rockin’ Bulstrode, Sodor’s Cranberry Carousel, Sodor Windmill, Toby’s Tilting Tracks, Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster and Winston’s Skyline Express, the last of which is a monorail-like ride.

Of course, families can also ride a real-life version of Thomas the Tank Engine. Thomas Land will host themed events, including holiday train rides on the “Polar Express,” as well.

Entrance to Thomas Land is included in regular admission for Edaville USA. Thomas Land will remain open through January 1, when it will close for the winter. It will reopen on April 1, 2016, operating April to December annually.

Thomas Land’s location at Edaville USA — just over an hour from Boston — is the first in the U.S. There are only two other locations in the world — Japan and the U.K.
