World’s Tallest Roller Coaster to Open in Orlando

When the world’s tallest roller coaster opens at Orlando‘s International Drive in 2017, it will rise 570 feet above the ground and reach speeds of 65 mph.

The new ride, called Skyscraper, will also have an observation deck for visitors who prefer to watch. For those who are daring enough to ride, here’s what to expect:

Six Flags’ Kingda Ka, located in Jackson, N.J. currently holds the title of World’s Tallest Roller Coaster. It will remain the world’s second fastest roller coaster — it reaches 128 mph.
