Now Larimar Punta Cana is the epitome of a luxurious all-inclusive resort, offering all things comfortable and accommodating to families who visit.
Guests stay in one of 822 spacious rooms, which include one king or two double beds, a furnished balcony or terrace and a full bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and shower.
While parents lounge at the spa or play a game of golf, kids can spend time with the Explorers Club, a program for children ages 3 to 12. From 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, kids can enjoy games, arts and crafts, a rock climbing wall, playground area and an ocean trampoline. There’s also something for teens: The Core Zone offers late-night disco mixers, weekly bonfires on the beach, table games, video games and a bungee trampoline.
Families will enjoy an abundance of onsite dining options, included with your stay. Windows Buffett, Carnival International Cafe and Castaway are especially popular as they offer buffets with both local and international cuisine.

Traveling with 6 family members, two rooms... when we arrived everyone is very pleasant and friendly...I had emailed the resort about 2 weeks prior to request an upgrade to the "Club". I never received a reply.. I asked at the desk if they would upgrade me to the Preferred Club,, I told them that I was a member of UVC... but this did not matter.. and I was put in a regular room..They only provide local liquor at the resort , so dont expect to find Jonnie, Henny or Jack in the bars...You need to make reservations at the A La Cart Restaurants... skip the Mexican,, the best was probably the Steak House.. The service in the resort is Hit or Miss... some employees would always greet you and others would ignore you....you feel like you need to tip everyone to get "good" service.. Some employees that stood out with a great job were : Bandera from Pool Bar.. Modesto, Juan and Omar from the buffet... Fernando and Poche at the Steak House.. One employee that stepped out of line was Wilkin at the Steak House...he made my wife feel very uncomfortable and disrespected by winking at her while we had dinner.. this is not acceptable. Overall we did try to enjoy our vacation, did 3 excursions outside of hotel... but We have visited Mexico and Costa Rica and this Resort does not compare to any of them, at any level..I would not recommend this Resort to any of my friends or family.

I Loved this resort. Went with my 16 yr old daughter and we had an excellent vacation! The people there were very pleasant and friendly. The housekeeping staff was terrific. They kept our room very clean and filled the mini bar daily. The entertainment staff got everyone going and dancing. The pool was awesome and the beach was clean. The only complaint I have is that when we were there they did not have all the restaurants open. We were there for 6 nights and it was mostly just the same 2 restaurants open. Not much variety when it came to dinner. However, I would definitely recommend this resort.
