I have been going here for the last 3 years and it has been great. In this hotel you are right by all of the action. I would greatly recommend this hotel. The view from the hotel is great. All of the workers are extremely nice too.

Sorry to say it was just ok.

This was our 2nd visit to Ocean1. Our 1st visit was top notch and we couldn't have asked for more, but this visit went down hill. Our room was clean and comfortable as before but the poor people 2 rooms down were having a fit. Their sliding doors to the balcony were coming out of the frame and one didn't have running water in their bathroom. We also had a fire alarm go off at 4:30 in the morning and luckily all turned out to be a false alarm.
This weekend was a big deal - "End of summer" where all the old muscle cars come and parade down the boardwalk. The weather was unusually hot and people came from far and near - OC was packed! There wasn't anywhere to park so we stayed in our room or walked the boardwalk. You couldn't get ice from the ice machine - either people loaded up their coolers or the machines were on the blink. There was no one at the front desk to help. In fact for Fri, Sat and into Sun no one was around at all it seemed.
